Out and About with Hearts Deco Summer 2017
Just thought, as it's almost summer, that we would let you know where and when we'll be out and about at Summer Fetes and Fairs, in case you want to try and catch up with us. We'd love to see you - do come and say hello and tell us how you found out about us!
Sunday 4th June 2017 - Elham Food and Craft Market
Takes place in The Square and inside the Church in the village of Elham in Kent from 12 noon till 3.30 pm. We will be inside the Church (in case we get rained on!) There will be lots of stalls outside in The Square selling wonderful fresh produce and some gift and crafty people inside the Church. It's usually a very busy afternoon, so do come and see us! We will be there for the staff of Saga in The Pavilion Building in Sandgate.
Saturday 17th June 2017 - Elham School Fete
School fete in the village of Elham, which takes place on the school field, visible from the main road through Elham. The fete is usually very well attended and this year has a Seaside Theme. There will be entertainment for the kids and stalls to browse too.
Saturday 25th June 2017 - Staple Country Fayre
This annual traditional country fair will be taking place on the Recreation Ground, Mill Lane, Staple, CT3 1LB from 11.00 am till 4.00 pm. Click on link above for more details of the fair. Lots of stalls and traditional events taking place throughout the day.
Saturday 1st July 2017 - Stelling Minnis School Windmill Fete
The annual Stelling Minnis Windmill Fete is being held on 1st July from 12 noon till 5.00 pm with plenty of fun for the kids and stalls for the adults to browse.
Thursday 20th to Sunday 23rd July 2017 - Wildlife Heritage Foundation Annual Open Days
This fabulous event only takes place ONCE a year - it is held at The Big Cat Sanctuary in Smarten in Kent and is a truly fabulous day out for all the family. Great for photographers too, or ladies who lunch who prefer a different sort of day out, or just a fun day for friends to enjoy the stunningly beautiful big cats, including cheetahs, lions, tigers and lots more. The event is a fundraiser to raise money for the Sanctuary which runs both a a breeding programme to protect these endangered species and to ensure their survival for future generations. Open every day from 11.00 till 5.00 pm, but tickets must be purchased online in advance! Check out their website for further information.
Saturday 29th July 2017 - New Romney Country Fayre
Another great day out - a traditional country fair down on the Romney Marshes. Lots of stalls selling all kinds of interesting things and lots of displays to keep you (and the kids) amused. Event starts at Marsh Academy, Station Road at 10.15 am with a procession through the streets of New Romney with all participants arriving on the two playing fields where the actual fair takes place.
